Mount Manaslu Expedition 2018

Manaslu from Sama Gaun
8163m tall Mount Manaslu also known as Kutung is the 8th highest mountain in the world. It is located in the Mansiri Himal. Manaslu which means ‘Mountain of the Spirit”, comes from Sanskrit word, Manasa, meaning “intellect” or “soul”. It was first climbed on 9th May 956 by Japanese Expedition Team
Manaslu is little easier than other 8000m peaks in climbed in September and mid of October. But it is completely different in Spring season because of heavy snowfall and threat of avalanche.
